But why? Why do people procrastinate and why it is one of the most common personal development challenges to work through? For me, personally, it’s a combination of things. 1.This idea of perfection! If I have a lot of stuff going on and I know that I’m not going to be able to commit the focused kind of time to something like I would like to, I’m going to put it off. Period. I go into the task or whatever I need to do with nervous energy that I’m going to hate the end result. That was my pattern for a long time. Until I had a shift in mindset. Most of the things I was working on were part of a bigger picture.
